Zerolog was designed against the assumption that "everything is logged somewhere." A conversation that was never stored cannot be abused.

The story

Modern messengers still keep metadata, contact lists, and habits in the cloud. We went one step further: don't keep any of it. Messages can't be deleted if they were never born; but they were born, and they should be forgotten.

If a feature breaks privacy or security, we don't add it. If a feature leaves the device, we tell you why on screen. Honest documentation over marketing.
