Overview
Zerolog isn't limited to text. You can share photos from camera or gallery, compressed video, animated stickers, and files. All media sent over the internet is end-to-end encrypted.
Everything you share follows the same ephemeral rules: when the lifetime you chose runs out, the media is wiped too.
You're in control: for each chat you can decide whether to allow forwarding and exporting (saving to the gallery). Screenshot and screen-recording attempts are surfaced to you as a warning.

Internet-free Messaging — Bluetooth & Local Network
When there's no signal, Bluetooth Low Energy and the local network take over; the device next to you stays in reach. Chat and games keep going with no internet. Whichever channel is used, no message is stored on our servers.
On the Internet: End-to-End Encrypted Messaging
On Wi-Fi or mobile data, Zerolog opens an end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) channel in parallel. Keys are generated on your device, never leave for a server. Message content can be decrypted only on the two devices — no one, including us, can read it.
Ephemeral (Self-Destructing) Messages
Each chat gets a lifetime: burn on read, seconds, minutes, hours, or wipe-on-session-end. When the timer runs out, the message is gone from both devices. No undo — because there was no save.
Peer-to-Peer Voice Calls
Zerolog offers encrypted peer-to-peer voice calls. Audio flows directly between the two devices and rings with a native call UI on the lock screen. Call history is not kept.
