Peer-to-Peer Voice Calls
Zerolog offers encrypted peer-to-peer voice calls. Audio flows directly between the two devices and rings with a native call UI on the lock screen. Call history is not kept.

- Requires an internet connection
Overview
Beyond messaging, Zerolog lets you make voice calls with people you've paired with. The audio stream (RTP) flows directly between the two devices; signaling rides the same encrypted channel. There is no server in the middle that could listen in.
Incoming calls appear with the phone's native call UI: on iOS it rings on the lock screen via CallKit, and on Android the system call screen is used. So the calling experience is familiar and smooth.
Voice calls require an internet connection (audio is not carried over Bluetooth). Call content is never recorded anywhere; when the call ends, no audio file is left behind.

Internet-free Messaging — Bluetooth & Local Network
When there's no signal, Bluetooth Low Energy and the local network take over; the device next to you stays in reach. Chat and games keep going with no internet. Whichever channel is used, no message is stored on our servers.
On the Internet: End-to-End Encrypted Messaging
On Wi-Fi or mobile data, Zerolog opens an end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) channel in parallel. Keys are generated on your device, never leave for a server. Message content can be decrypted only on the two devices — no one, including us, can read it.
Ephemeral (Self-Destructing) Messages
Each chat gets a lifetime: burn on read, seconds, minutes, hours, or wipe-on-session-end. When the timer runs out, the message is gone from both devices. No undo — because there was no save.
Pairing with Mutual Approval
Every new pair requires the recipient's approval. The request shows up on their screen — accept or decline. Silent messaging is impossible.
